I hope to post a set or two once a week so that I can return these to your parents. The photos as they've been posted are edited and I also adjusted the image quality a little...

So like I said -- I plan on doing a Blurb book with these once I have scanned them. I am not sure if they will be put in chronological order because I won't be sure of all that... I think it may be enough of a job to put it all together.

1-What would really help is if you'd leave comments to help me out. Tell me anything you want about these photos!

2-Also, Jeremy mentioned that it'd be cool if you'd forward to me any additional photos you'd like posted, so there will be a great compilation of photos for the whole book.

Eugene Cosgriff. Note from John: That was my uncle Eugene Cosgriff standing on a boat or pier. He was bald like his father, Cornelius, and usually wore a hat. My dad said that Gene was his mother's favorite because he looked so much like his father. Gene got very tan working outside in the hot Manteca summers and sometimes was mistaken for a Portuguese. It kind of made him mad when a Portuguese would speak to him in Portuguese.

My father probably took after the McCormick side and had red hair and burnt and freckled rather than tanned. His hair gradually turned brown, but I remember his whiskers were red whenever he let them grow out a little.

So I wanted to scan some Cosgriff family photos into the computer anyway... I may as well make them available to share. Once I have finished, I plan on creating a Blurb book or something like it so I have a nice book with all the photos.
